Someone seeing Waitedly for the first time should work out how to run it inside a minute, without training or a manual.

    Add the visitor

    Type a name, or don't. Waitedly issues the next token automatically. It takes about three seconds, and two people can never be given the same number.

    Tell them roughly how long

    The estimate reflects how fast this queue is actually moving today, not a guess. Approximate on purpose — “~45 min”, never a promise of 7:43pm.

  3. 03

    Press Call next

    One action completes the current visitor and calls the next one in. The queue can't skip anyone, double-book a slot, or lose its place on refresh.

Today Waitedly hands the visitor a token and a wait estimate at the desk — the messaging layer is built and tested, but not yet connected to WhatsApp.

Questions

Do visitors need to download anything?
No. Visitors never install an app, create an account or set a password. They are given a token number at the desk, and that is the whole of their experience.
How much does the receptionist have to learn?
Two actions: Add visitor and Call next. Everything else — token numbers, the waiting list, wait estimates — happens on its own. There is no training course.
Does this replace our existing systems?
No, and it is not trying to. Waitedly does not hold records, appointments or billing. It manages who is waiting and whose turn is next, and leaves everything else alone.
What happens if the internet drops or the browser closes?
The queue lives in the database, not the browser. Reopen the page and it is exactly where you left it, with the same person being served and the same people waiting.
Can two people at reception use it at the same time?
Yes. Open it on the desktop and a tablet and both stay in step automatically. The queue is protected against two people calling the next visitor at the same moment.
Is our data separated from other businesses?
Yes. Every organisation's data is isolated at the database level, not just hidden in the interface, so one organisation's staff cannot read another's records even in principle.
